Ketones NEGATIVE!

Just in case my post gets lost in my other thread.....

I FINALLY was able to check Lucky for ketones!!! It was Negative!!

I saw him head into the bathroom (we have a kitty door) through the video monitor so I jumped up, ran down the stairs, grabbed the ladle, and busted into the bathroom. Lucky looked up at me like I was absolutely crazy but I got just enough before he jumped out and made a run for it. WHEW!! I was soooo happy!!

Now if I can only do it again........ :mrgreen:

I just had to post this, I was so proud of myself! LOL

Good for you! Thumper bolts if she sees me follow her to the litter box most of the time or she lays down & waits it out. She just doesn't like company when she goes! It's always a challenge.

Video monitor. What a great idea that was!

This time last year, I had to drive my daughter to her new home in Missouri (Marine husband got stationed there). I got to drive the truck pulling the horse trailer, with Katie in the truck with me. She refused to make the trip without a video monitor in the trailer, so all the way there it was "Dad, don't turn so sharp! Dad, go easy on the gas/brakes!" It was a two day trip. First night, we reached TN, and she left the monitor on all night. Burned out the screen. So then we had to drive around Murfreesboro TN for an hour looking for a place that sold video monitors. Luckily we found one! Then it was 10 more hours (the last 3 on winding hilly one and a half lane wide roads, and pretty much a constant "DAD!........".
Next time, she's driving and I'm watching the TV!
