Hi All

Starting a new chain. Kaz's numbers were high this morning however this is due to the DM food at 10% carb it really was the only thing he would touch. His Ketones are now back to normal at 0.1 and he is off the nausea tablets and today has gone back to eating his normal food so I am hoping his numbers will reflect this over the next couple of days.
Thanks for everyone's help I think I was very lucky to catch this so early as I know this would have led to the hospital. Just glad it happened on my watch and not a sitters.

I have but the rules over there are so different and I don't think I'd be able to follow them and would end up irritating a lot of the regulars. They require a new post ever day you can't continue with an older post. I find the older posts really helpful as I can go back and read something that someone advised me on or a link they might have given me. Daily posts would be a nightmare if I was having to reopen link after link from my email searching for what I need. Plus I am already working over 12 hours every days as we are so under staffed that I am not sure I would have time to physically start a new post each day it's easy to add a quick sentence under a post already started but to tag people and then put link to the past post takes me a while.
I also don't want to lose the people who help me now. (I like Suzanne, Bron, tiffmax and I trust them with my cats life)
Plus I have a very hard time finding my way around this forum. If I need any kind of information I have to go to Google and then sometimes Google sends me a link to a page within the Forum. I only know how to follow the end of this post back to the welcome page to start a new post.
It took me forever just to figure out how to turn off the 911 sign.

This is the ONLY social media I do and I do it to keep my Kaz safe as I can not do it myself. I'm not one for chatting every day due to either not having time or there is nothing to report on Kaz and I feel a bit stupid typing nothing to report kind of a waste of everyone's time having to open a post that does not need an answer.
 
You're welcome to keep posting here. Bron and tiffmax also post on the Lantus board -- they are Lantus users! The biggest difference is that we don't continue threads on the Lantus forum. Instead, you provide a link to the thread from your last post so you can go back and find the information you're looking for. There's no "rule" that you have to post every day although a lot of people get into the habit of doing so.
