I realize it has been a year since I checked in here but I was just thinking about so many of you and wanted to say hello.

I am happily living with Lily-Anne who is a lively, young cat; healthy and strong. Although I still miss my beautiful Morgaine, Lily-Anne has really helped me to move past the painful feelings and now I have my sweet memories. I do see that many are still here working hard to keep your kitties as healthy as possible. To all of you I send my best wishes and to all the new members, I also wish you the best.

This board saved me from so much pain and struggle. Having you all to guide and support me and Morgaine through those rough times was so special. The monetary assistance is something I will always remember as one of the kindest gestures of love and friendship I have ever known.

This is and always will be a special place for cat lovers to come and receive all that they need to help their kitties with diabetes. I hope you all know how important this group is for so many people and their kitties.

Wishing everyone healing vines.

For those who have had losses, please accept my condolences.

Hugs to all,
Rosalie

Hi Rosalie,
i'm glad Lily-Anne came into your life and has helped turn you memories of Morgaine to sweet ones. I'm sure she is happy to be with you!
You are so right about this board being a special place. We found it just as Oliver was diagnosed, joined and have counted our blessings every day since.
Many many hugs to you and Lily-Anne and a special little hug to Morgaine

Hi Rosalie, I was just thinking of you too and trying to remember Lily-Anne's name! You must have heard me. I do remember her beautiful face from the picture you posted. She is a lucky girl to be with you. I'm so glad to read you are both doing well. Yes, LL has been a lifesaver for us too. :-D :-D

I had been thinking about you recently, as well and hoped life had resumed it's normal pace. I'm glad to hear you and Lilly-Anne are doing well. The only thing missing from your post is a photo of Lily-Anne.

Thanks for coming back to visit.

Good to hear from you and I'm so happy Lily-Anne is bringing joy to your heart once more. The rest of us keep going on and I think we will have to turn this into an old age home soon!  Hugs and scritches all around.

ROSALIE! OH I'm SO glad you came to visit!!! I think about you and sweet Morgaine often.

Your sweet baby taught ME a lesson that will stay with me forever as long as I have an animal with issues. When Morgaine walked with the A/C, one of the things Morgaine said was she felt 'out of control' and didn't like having to 'submit' to the routine required. I always made KT go to our 'testing spot' when it was time for a test. After Morgaine said that and I UNDERSTOOD it, I let KT decide where he wants to test - I put the strip in making the meter beep, he knows it's time. He walks around until he finds where he wants to lay THEN we test. That way HE has some control over the situation. We DO shoot in the same place but that's because there's light and I know it's a safe place. That one thing has made such a difference in the way I think about any treatment.

BIG HUGE HUG!!! Please continue to visit!!! Headbutts to sweet Lily-Anne too!!!

Hi Rosalie,
It is good to hear from you, and especially to hear that things are going well with you and Lily-Anne. I remember your sweet Morgaine very well, and I am happy that you are able to enjoy your happy memories of her now, with Lily-Anne's help.
Linda
