I just bought myself a "real" camera. Tired of trying to get good pics on my phone or Ipod.
Posting this first pic as a test. Nothing special, just trying to figure out how the thing works without resorting to actually reading the manual

Especially for big fans of "Orinch Boyz"!
This is old man Mullet, who's pushing 15 years young.

Aw, bless 'im... (Mullet, I mean - not you, Carl!)

It seems your method of finding out how something works is similar to what we do in our house: "If all else fails, read the instructions...."

 Read the manual

Awwww I do love the Orinch Boyz, scritches to Mr. Mullet, none of the other pictures of Mullet showed how orinch he really was.

Hello Mullet! Bout time your daddy posted YOUR picture!!! I have a special place for the Orinch kids too. I've got them in both the boy & girl varieties, although someone told me MOST orinch kids are boys - just like most calicos are girls (and the calico boys are are unable to reproduce).

So what kind of camera did you get?

Hope you'll have some good turtle pics posting soon. Not sure what their schedule is, but regardless, we always enjoy them!

Lu,
It's an Olympus Pen E-PL2. Not too impressed with the editing software that came with it, but I'm still fiddling with the various settings on the camera just to see what happens. I'm going to have to send a PM to Donna to get some photography lessons!

It was a gorgeous day here today, so I took a walk and saw some cool stuff!

Nesting starts early in May, and the babies start hatching around the 4th of July. Pics will follow:-)

Hi Carl, can you tell me what and ornich (sp) is? Great pics already though.

Hi Mimi, I think 'orinch' is 'orange', ie orange tabby; or what we in the UK call a 'marmalade' or a'ginger' cat.... So, if that's the case it looks like Loki is 'orinch' too! (or marmalade, or ginger...)

Hi Michele,

Yes the vet said Harley was a buff also, probably the only place you will ever hear them lovingly called "Orinch Boyz" is here at FDMB. So Loki, Harley, Robbie and many others are in the "Orinch Boy" club.

Hey Carl:
Looks like you are doing pretty good on your own without help!!! Always remember: angle, background, composition. :-D
Nice to see everyone here. I miss you guys!
Xoxoxoxo to all!

My Peaches & Herb are members of the club, also Paulo. I consider them orinch tuxedos. I also have an orinch tabby girl named Tango (short for tangerine). Any my Sandy probably falls into that "buff" category, but I call him my blonde boy. VERY handsome, all of them!
