looks like no one answered you on this forum, I'll check the Lantus forum which is where you'd get more help for dosing and such

I see you went ahead and gave 1u -- keep testing every hour to make sure he's not dropping too low -- relative newbie who's been there

looks to me like he bounced from the yellows yesterday and the bounce just cleared; I'll leave it to the experienced members to analyze whether a dose reduction is in order -- that's my suspicion
 
Thanks. Being a newbie I read 150 and lower was no shot. I gave half dose. Only knowing I'll be home to test. I do have hypo kit. Did I do the right thing? Thanks CandyH and Catcat
 
you did the right thing -- go read the yellow sticky notes on the Lantus forum, if you haven't already (I suspect you did) -- and for this sort of question you'd get more, faster, and better help on that forum since it's specific for that type of insulin -- this forum is great for general questions
