Okay as cat people the gifts in the traditional 12 days of Christmas wouldn't be gifts we'd want especially all those birds, so let's rewrite it Cat Lady Style (Cat guy style too)

I'll start us off.

On the First Day Of Christmas my true love gave to me......A kitten up a tree!​

Okay now fill in the other 11 days...lol

I've done my list. Don't want to post it yet, 'cause I don't know whether it should be just one suggestion each or one version each. More significantly, I wasn't put on the planet to be a lyricist and I think my list is naff. :oops:

Giggles Either was I but we have had enough sadness around here and this is the season of Joy to the World.

So throw out the lists or single verse and we'll throw it altogether and figure it out later.

Or we can rewrite the whole freaking carole list as far as I care.

Folks just have fun with this, no one can hear us sing on the internet...lol

Twelve treats a-freezing
Eleven meters testing
Ten tutus bouncing
Nine lancets pricking
Eight Petmates feeding
Seven vials a-chilling
Six kitties surfing
An A-M-P-S blood test!
Four vetty beans
Three mini meals
Two trampolines
And a kitten in a tree!


Like I said earlier, Cole Porter I ain't. :roll:

At school, we had some alternative versions of Christmas carols:

As shepherd's washed their socks by night
All seated round the tub
A bar of Sunlight soap came down
And they began to scrub.

- and then there was -

We three kings have travelled so far
John in a taxi, Paul in a car,
George on a scooter blowing his hooter
Following Ringo Starr.

But the daddy of all Christmas carol rewrites has to have come from the pen of Tom Lehrer ...

(Can't get the 'Youtube' feature to work properly on my PC. :? )
