Regulated blood sugar *should* right neuropathy. I used MB12 to help the process. MB 12 helps fluid travel through the spinal column. I have no experience with the other problems you and Simba face. This response will bump your thread to the top, for more experienced eyes. You also could edit your title and include the words "Cushings and or Neuropoathy"
Best of luck to you and Simba,
jeanne

Boy I didnt get enough sleep last night! Your title already HAS those words...My apologies.

There are several people here who have experience with cushing's and will be able to help you.

With regards to the neuropathy. In addition to insulin, you want to mix methylcobalamin B12 in with his wet food. Here is a link to the one I used. It comes in capsule form and is easy to mix with wet food.

whether you get this one or another brand, you want to purchase 3-5 mg or 3000 - 5000 mcg and make sure it only contains mthylcobalamin B12 in it and then you would give it once a day.

Whatever the cat doesn't use in his body, will be peed out.

So, no worries if you give too much or another cat eats it too.

Here is an explanation from the vitacost site:

What is vitamin B-12 (methylcobalamin)?

Vitamin B-12 (cobalamin) is a water-soluble B vitamin that’s vital for carbohydrate metabolism and energy production.* It also plays an important role in the formation of healthy red blood cells.*

Methylcobalamin is an active coenzyme of the vitamin B12 analogs, which are essential for cell growth and replication.* Methylcobalamin is required for the formation of methionine from homocysteine.*

How does vitamin B-12 (methylcobalamin) support health?

Helps reduce homocysteine levels, which is important for heart health.*
Supports the health of the central nervous system.*
Improves daytime alertness and concentration.*
Promotes optimal sleep.*
