Just diagnosed, going through feeding issues

Hi Everyone,

We have an 11-year-old Siamese who just went through this week mostly at the vet's office getting fluids, etc. We have him home now, and our normally voracious eater is not eating. I'm researching feeding syringes as I type this. Of course this happens on the weekend, so we have two days to fend for ourselves. I'm hopeful he gets to eating so I can feel comfortable giving him his insulin.

What food are you trying to get him to eat? Is it something different than he is used to?

Thanks! We're feeding him what he normally would eat, kitten food, Fancy Feast, Tuna & water, pretty much anything we can get... We're in contact with our vets, just hoping somebody had a better trick than we're going through. He's had a rough week His pancreas is swollen, so it's causing him to not eat... poor little guy.
