Hi all! Haven't been around for a while, way too much going on (health issues) to post about. Besides, it's all rather maddening to even talk about! Lol. I'll be fine tho.

Just wanted to let you all know that Goof is doing very well. He got a nasty case of feline acne that resulted in an abscess on his chin which caused his BG to skyrocket into the 600's almost overnight. But after finding and draining it, the number dropped quite a lot. I haven't updated his SS for quite awhile, but he's currently getting around 2 units twice a day, sometimes none at all. The neuropathy is a little worse, but he was always kind of a clutzy cat, so it's hard to tell. Lol

Thanks everyone! I found out this morning that I'll be having C-spine fusion surgery. They'll remove the hardware from a fusion I had done 25 years ago as they need to add another vertebrae to the mix, that'll make 4 vertebrae being fused together. This will happen on August 5. I'm sure it'll all be fine.

I've found a wonderful house/critter sitter, she loves Goof and that little sinker totally LOVES her! Lol. His BG drops dramatically when she's here.
