Felix seems to feel fine and has been cheerful, so I'm cheerful, too (most of the time). He's so good about taking his heart meds, two pills in the morning and three at night. He's such a wonderful kittyman.
He's been home from the hospital a month now; our time together is passing too fast.

I will ask the cardiologist about this. She was so busy when Felix was hospitalized that I never got to speak with her. The criticalist at the ER and his regular vet have said it won't improve. Also, did the vet ever run a proBNP level? This is a test to see if there is cardiac muscle damage due to excessive stretching of the muscle tissue which can cause damage to the heart wall. It may also give you an idea if the condition is improving over time.
I combined Neko’s heart meds into a gelcap so it was less pilling sessions. But it sounds like Felix is much better with pilling.
