Good morning. Well, the kitten Lizzy has been here in our household for a week now. The two of them are still nicknamed "Hiss and Vinegar" as Sammy still hisses and growls at the kitten whenever she gets too close.

All that drama is starting to get on my nerves, and i was beginning to worry that it was going to cause Sammy to have higher BG readings due to stress.

Well, as you can see by the subject line, her "cover" has been blown. I took that reading right after a particularly robust hissing session, and in fact the kitten kept jumping on the table while I was drawing blood from Sammy and while she hissed at little Lizzy.

I know 2 things now. Firstly, and most importantly, my OTJ kitty is not as fragile as i worry she is, and can take things in stride. And she is all noise and no substance.

Doesnt make the growling less grating on my nerves, but I am not so worried now.

 - My "upstairs cat" Molly is that same way. In fact, she even looks like Sammy. She'll descend from Mount Grumpit several times a day just to growl at everyone before retreating again to her grumpy lair, lol.

I looked at Sammy's SS and, even though you're in Canada, blue and green are still easy for me to read. Lookin' forward to the day when Alice's SS is as beautiful as Sammy's!

yeah, I have watched that video several times lately.

I am going to get some of Sammy's very favourite, break down a door to get it, forbidden but I love it treat! She goes nuts when I have Black Cherry yogurt. I am going to put some on Lizzy's head. Call her Irresistable.
