It's been a couple of years since I've been a regular poster here. Our Johnny Cat was diagnosed with diabetes in May 2010 and this board was a literal lifeline for us during those first days and months and helped us find our way to great diabetes regulation and a once-again normal life for Johnny Cat. We sadly lost our sweet boy last Friday, not due to his diabetes, but to severe pancreatitis and suspected aggressive cancer. I'm writing to send you all huge hugs for being here...you are the animal parents that every cat deserves!!! Best wishes to all of your kitties!

If anyone is in the Chicago area and in need of a new vial of Lantus insulin, lancets, syringes (we have a few boxes) or even an AeroKat inhaler, please send me a message and let me know. I'd like to keep it local and avoid shipping, if possible, but want to get some resources to those who can use them.

Give your kitty a huge hug tonight in Johnny Cat's honor. <3

I'm sorry you lost your sweet Johnny. It sounds like you were a really good mom to him. :YMHUG:

It's kind of you to share Johnny's supplies. Another place you can post is the Supply Closet forum.

Hi, I've only been here for a few months, so you don't know me, but I'm very sorry for your loss. I did hug my kitties in Johnny Cat's honor after reading this - thank you for that. Sending lots of vines and hugs to you!
