I read through your thread from this morning. Just fyi, you can change the thread title by using the thread tools (top right of my screen on this page) and keep the same thread all day.

In any case, keep reading further down on the SLGS part you quoted this morning. Think of those SLGS guidelines as being in phases. When you are first starting out, a person should be more conservative. As you gain more information on your cat, keep moving down the guidelines. If you look a ways down it says something like "shooting under 90 isn't recommended for those following SLGS." Last night's 228 was less than this morning's 248.

But no worries, this is all one big learning experience.

I don't really have any insights on today's curve. I suspect it was an off cycle, either from bouncing or perhaps the reduced shot this morning.

So disappointed to see the "hi" # this morning! It's been 5 days since the last "hi" #. Did reducing his dose by .25 units cause him to go back up? I was so hopeful that he was starting to heal and not have these crazy high glucose #s. Did the curve tell us anything? I wish I understood this better and could do more to help him.
