Well, a most inauspicious event: Jeddie's first 300 (since I have had him), 309 to be exact. Sigh..... he did eat 1 hr before. Schedules are all screwed up with time change and a late evening out last night. Plus I have to be at work 2 hrs early tomorrow, but work until my normal time. Then Weds is a really late evening... it just is not going to be good for him this week.

I upped his dose to .2u, I am thinking the cart is going (except he got to 70s last weekend).

Beau is about the same. I am still having to coax him to eat, warm his food, follow him around with the dish. He IS eating, he IS coming to the kitchen while I prepare it, he IS very interested in treats, he IS more engaged with me and the others. I need to weigh him again and will do that tonight or tomorrow. I am pretty sure he has not lost more weight.

Darn, too many yellows on that spreadsheet for Jeddie. :( I hope he doesn't have an infection brewing and that he settles down again. And that 300... probably a food spike like you said although he has had some high 200 preshots recently too...what's the matter with our boy Jeddie?

So you are almost done with the cart? I was able to use them down to the very bottom and it seemed like they worked better towards the bottom, like they were more potent? But that was just my experience. A couple of people on the human diabetes forum said the same thing, while others said it was less potent so not sure if that means anything. Maybe how it was handled?

Sorry for the messed up schedule. That makes it hard to get spot checks and figuring out what is wrong. :(

Glad Beau seems to be doing a little better!

Yeah, agree about schedules. I was late to work this morning because I could not get up, yet yesterday I got up at what would have been not much past 6AM CST! Without the alarm!!

Not sure about Jeddie's 309. Could be from the time changing and not the food. Hang in there!

I don't know what the heck is going on. He was 313 last night at a little over 12 hrs. Today, because I will be home close to midnight, I delayed his shot this am until almost +14 and he was 218. Scratching head over this. His shot tonight will be close to +15. I considered skipping his dose this am to see if he would be even lower, but decided against that. If he is low again at +15 tonight I will have to consider he has been in chronic rebound.

I need to start a new cart, but not when I am going to be gone for 15 hrs and can't monitor him.

He is acting fine. We have big belly rub sessions at least once a day and he runs around with the younger cats. In fact, I would not think he was 11 if it wasn't in his vet records.

PS - SS is not up to date for last 2 days.

Sounds like you have a lot going on right now - between the boys and crazy work schedule. Will you be around this week end to start the new cart and be able to monitor?

Thinking about you - keep us updated.

Yeah, this week seems like the worst possible scheduling since I started the whole FD thing 3 years ago - poor Jeddie. I have another late night tomorrow. I will be home Sat, but not the early part of Sunday - perhaps missing the first 6-8 hrs of the am cycle. I was planning on shooting and walking out the door (going to the Pet Expo with a friend).

I think my cart (old) just emptied tonight which means starting a new one in the am and then being gone for 14-15 hours. I may just end up skipping the shot if I can't get anything out of the old cart. I can't tell if there is anything in there because the brown bottom stopper is all the way to the top, but I know there is space in there where the needle goes. I just don't know if an insulin is in there.

Plus, I shot at +10 tonight.
