Steph and Java(GA)

Member Since 2011
I know we havent been around as much with Java's second time on insulin but I wanted to let anyone who might remember us know that I lost my baby boy yesterday. He had been battling his FD, IBD and Pancreatitis like a champ. But after an emergency room visit and panc flareup over a minth ago, his appetite started waning again. Results of an ultrasound last week showed probable pancreatic carcinoma with liver metastases. I wasnt willing to let them do a biopsy because he had been through enough so we treated it as pancreatitis, just in case. But his appetite never really came back. He had some episodes of incredible weakness and was now wobbling constantly as if drunk. So we tried fluids and pain meds and anti-nausea but he couldn't rally this time.
I want those of you who remember us to know how much you helped us and had I not found this site, we may not have had 16 years together. You all do amazing things for the beans and furbabies that you come in contact with here and I for one, will never forget it.
thanks again,
Java's bean,
Steph

So sorry to hear of your loss, Steph. I haven't been here long enough to remember some of the older kitties, but we're a family here and every time any of us loses one, it hurts us all.

Fly free, sweet Java, and land softly...there are many at the Bridge to welcome you wings_cat

((((Steph))))

I am so sorry to hear that Java has gotten his wings. He fought all of his health issues so bravely and with so much strength, it sounds like he finally needed to find peace and the freedom and the health that the Bridge could give him. I know it leaves an empty place in your heart.

Fly free sweet Java and land softly. There are many of our kitties who are dearly missed who are at the Bridge to keep you safe until you are reunited with the one you love best.

(((Steph))))

I am so, so very sorry your sweet Java crossed. What a great mama you have been to him and he was so lucky to have someone so attuned to his needs. He is now FD free and running happy and young again.

Gentle Journey to the Rainbow Bridge, Java...most handsome and brave!

Steph, I am so sorry to read this. I so remember Java well, what a trooper he was. Java is very lucky to have found you as a bean, what good care you gave him. I shall always remember that sweet face. I hope the memories will be of comfort to you. Fly free little one. Land softly at the Bridge. ALl of LL will miss you.

(((Steph))) - So sorry to hear of your loss. Even 16 years doesn't seem like enough with our fur babies, does it? I know you will miss your boy terribly, but hope you'll be comforted by many fond memories of your times together.

Libby (& Hershey, too!)

Steph, I'm so sorry that you lost your beloved little boy, Java. Nothing will take away the fact that you will miss him terribly, but just try to take solace in the fact that you were the very best bean for him and that you did everything you could to help him through this life. He will not suffer now and he will be at peace with all of the other little beloved furbabies. wings_cat

Dear Steph,
We are saddened to hear that it was Java's time to go. He and you battled valiantly. Now he is at the Bridge with many old friends, who have been waiting to welcome him. Fly free, sweet Java! You are much loved.

In deepest sympathy,

Ella & Edward, Rusty, and Stu (GA)

Thank you for all the candles to guide my babys way. I am especially comforted knowing he will have such LL vets as Mannie the Nanner King and Donny and Butthead and all the others who have gone before, to help get him adjusted to the Bridge. I bet there was a party this weekend! It feels so empty without him but I have been watching his OTJ video over and over. You are a very special group of people and I thank you all for being part of our journey.

I am so sorry to hear about Java crossing over .. I hope you are finding peace and comfort knowing he is no longer in pain and is waiting eagerly till you two meet again ..

So sorry for you loss (((((Steph)))))
I hope your heart begins to heal soon and your memories of Java help ♥
Fly free sweet Java and land softly wings_cat
