Java Dose increase?

Hi LL peeps! Hope your Saturdays are off to a great start

Ive been away for work for the past week, so Tom was full-time diabetes dad - come home to find happy boys! If anything he is looking even better than when I left! His long coat is shiny, soft and looks very "salonesque" if thats possible for a kitty He's playing up a storm and is really doing well on his insulin treatment - can't wait to get him into blues! (the thoughts of insulin induced greens makes me a little freaked out at the moment!)

Id like some advice on whether we increase Java by .5, or by .25 just to be sure. Java has had two yellows in a sea of purples over the past 4 days. Im not sure whether the 499 was the result of a bounce, or he decided to eat out!

With his two yellows in the past two days, I should increase by .25, from 2.5 to 2.75 yeah?

Hi Charlene and welcome back. Yes, I'd increase to 2.75U next. We ignore the nadirs of those bounce cycles when deciding the dose. Good to hear how well Java is feeling, paws crossed for those blues soon.

I hope your week away was successful.

It looks like Java's nadirs are on the way down. It may be a judgement call whether to raise by 0.25 or 0.5u. The more conservative route, given the recent drop into the yellows would be to increase by 0.25u like Wendy suggested.
