today was the best poke yet! do most of you freehand or use the little lancet tool? I want to do what ever is easiest for the baby.

Morning! YAY on the best poke yet - that is great! I free hand - it is just easier for me. I feel I have better control, and can see what I am doing better than with a device. Tried that once, and just didn't care for it - personal preference only, as I don't think it mattered much to Mannie. I would do whatever you are comfortable with. Does java have a preference?

Here's to continued success with the pokes! It does get so much better over time.

Morning Java I think this is my first visit to your condo I freehand with Do Lou tried it both ways and free hand works best for me hope Java comes down from the pink floor soon ;-)
