I have not had a chance to update his numbers in a while so I'll get that posted soon but I wanted to see if anyone has ran into this. For the last few days I noticed Jasper was not eating all of his food but otherwise he was fine (he normally is a little piggy and eats it all), yesterday he wasn't meowing for food for breakfast as he always does. By about 9pm yesterday he puked but otherwise seemed fine. I woke up at midnight to him puking, a lot. Then he puked again about 7AM. Late last night early this morning I knew something wasn't right. He's hiding again-he hasn't ate today (that I noticed), and he seems a little lithargic. I called and schedule an appointment for him tomorrow at 230pm but I am paranoid that something could really be wrong with him again. I have made him an electrolyte and he has been drinking that at least. I've posted to the FB group and two people have suggested pancreatitis. I took him in for a check up just over a week ago and the vet was fine with his numbers even though he had a few days of highs and the vet thought it may have been from too much insulin so we lowered the dose from 2 units to 1.5 twice daily. He had a few high days after the change but just finally started evening out. Until this morning, he was 300 but with him not eating I was hesitant to give him his dose this morning. I hope this information will be ok until I can get sheet updated.

Thank you Sue for responding, I've been paranoid the last few hours since someone mentioned it could be that. I thought it may have been a cold since the house has been on the cooler side the past few days to keep the electric bill down. There is no discharge or anything-just some sneezing and clogged nose. I've picked him up a few times today and did not act as if he was in pain. I noticed a few times he seemed slightly wobbly but I had wondered if it was from him not feeling and eating today. Thinking about going ahead and syringe feeding him so something gets in his tummy. I have his ketone strips sitting near his litter box so I can catch him the next time he goes potty.

Sorry for the late response, still out on vacation. The vet thinks he may have had bad insulin even though it was a brand new vile. By Saturday he was well enough that we went ahead with our planned vacation. But today we are a bit confused with what is going on with his numbers today. He has been under 100 all day today and even got as low as 23, but he is not acting hypo. He has been acting normal but we have given him some reliOn glucose drink (hoping that that works as well as corn syrup) twice today, some potassium our vet gave him from when he was sick, and he's had over a can of food. He's been eating it no problem, bathroom no problem, everything appears normal but his numbers, to be sure my husband used his father in laws moniter to see if our meter was off, it wasn't. Regardless we will be taking him in the morning but I've never seen this...usually if he was running a bit low and then he ate his numbers would be going up. Right now they are fluctuating in the lows even after the food and syrup. He hasn't had insulin since last night and has been getting 1.5 units twice daily before that.
