I’m not sure where.. I just googled “happy cat” and I think it may be allergy related also but she doesn’t seem uncomfortable at all. And OMG the OTJ party thought is sooooo exciting!! Thank you ( and Felix)!I love that kneading calico--what is it from?
I think the alopecia can be allergy-related, but I don't know any good solutions. My mom's cat gets a naked belly unless she's on duck food. Many years ago, I had a kitty who overgroomed her tummy and the vet put her on chlorpromazine--not a natural remedy, and I got uncomfortable with the idea and discontinued it. Hope you get some answers.
Felix is looking forward to Jade's OTJ party.

Happy Day 9!
I don't know anything about alopecia. I hope you get some suggestions.[/QUOTE

She's got it on her belly, also. So, a pill? What dose and how do you give it? There's no way she will let me put a pill in her mouth. She develops super human strength when I have to. It's incredibly dramatic. She doesn't seem to bothered. I think it bothers me more than her cuz I just see this pink bare belly all the time, but it's spreading a bit to her arm pits. I was hoping to find some sort of topical powder or ointment. Thanks for the response!! She’s really sitting here watching.... funny girl! One of my cats has belly alopecia and had a very nasty rash for months. I tried a restricted diet which didn't help, changed his constipation med which did help, but what's really cleared up his skin is cetirizine (generic Zyrtec). His fur's only grown back a little, though.
Thank You!!!!!Lol!
For cats you give cetirizine 5mg once a day. It's considered very safe with few side effects. I get the pills from Amazon since it's hard to find them in less than 10mg. I don't pill him; the pills are tiny and I put it in half a Pill Pocket and push it into his food. For a diabetic cat maybe you could use 1/4 pill pocket or a bit of cheese or butter or just hide it in the food.

Does it make him lethargic? Or wired? That’s what happens to me when I take allergy pills.Ordered!!
