So not a good day for Jack!

420 @ AMPS shot .5 un
469 @ +3
447 @ +9
410 @ PMPS

I know for sure he did not get a fur shot this morning. Not sure what happened today. He seems to be acting fine, ate ok. I just got home from work, kids got home at +9 time to check him. Will try to catch pee to check for ketones later, but I need to go out again soon.

Didn't shoot yet...any ideas for the PM shot?
 
altho' tempting to think rebound...your SS indicates .6 was a better dose.
he's really a stumper. it's def. either too much or too little......there, does that help?
i gotta go...but hopefully some others will chime in.

No chance he got into any dry food? It sure looks like fur shot numbers.......Well, .6 looks like a good choice. Let's see what he throws us next.
 
Yes Darlene, it is either too much or too little :lol: I get a little wood on the ball occasionally......
 
That actually borders on an inverse curve, which would be from the dose too high. Arguably could be flat though, and you don't know what happened in the middle. I'm doubting he dipped down to a blue nadir or anything, but hey, you just don't know.

If nothing else, I think we can all agree it's wonky. :lol: Was he up late partying for Cinco de Mayo maybe? Too many tunaritas?

It's probably one of the few times I've *wished* for a fur shot, LOL.
 
Yes Joanna, it is either flat or inverse. I am just a plethora of information here aren't I?
It would help so much if we knew what that first dose was. There was confusion as to whether it was 2u or .8u due to a mix up in syringes. First doses were given at vets. Can you imagine that....which syringe did they use?????

No chance at all that he got into dry food...there is none around except in a closed off cabinet in a sealed bag! I know for sure it was not a fur shot...I made extra sure I got a good shot in because of all the weird numbers. A lot of times I give him his shot while he's eating. This morning he was trying to do the Army crawl away from me, so I put him on his "diabetes chair" where we usually test him and he laid perfectly still and I got a good shot in. I wish I could chalk it up to a fur shot too.

Maybe they were partying last night, I don't know. I did find a little Mexican hat on the floor this morning and was wondering where it came from....

And YES Lori...it would scare the heck out of me to give him 2 full units!!!!!!!!!!!!

Fianlly got a yellow...down to 275 @ +3. Will stay up to get the +6 tonight.
