since Pippin had to leave me, I found myself here tonight wondering how all his wonderful friends were faring and happy to see so many at the falls and so sad to see those who had to leave us since I was last here.
The time Pippin was diabetic was traumatic for both of us but here we found wonderful friends and a lot of help and support and for that I will always be grateful.
I wish you all the very best and hope to see your sweet sugar babies at the falls in time.

Wow, has it really been almost a year already? We do miss sweet Pippin. I didn't know him well, but I did love the stories of his antics. Hope all is well with you Deb, nice to hear from you.

Deb,

It's good to see you again. I remember Pippin. It's tough but you always have family here, new and old, when you need us. Take care of yourself.

Barry is doing well and is still OTJ. He now has a sugar sister, Paisley. I adopted her a couple months ago.

Hugs

Lylene, Barry & Paisley

I remember when yall joined and I LOVED the movie of Pippin playing in the snow in the bathtub. You made me want a ferret even though Raja would have killed me if I had gotten one.

Can't believe it has been almost a year! I remember when you and Pippen joined FDMB, the first ferret to follow tight regulation...what an experience. Thanks for stopping by and it is always good to hear from you.

Deb! Sorry for your loss, I remember when You lost Sweet Pippin and how sad we all were!
He was one of those animals in your life that brings something special to your heart.
We love & miss him too, and You!--I lost Moonie's brother Copper a few months ago & still grieve--
Sending you Love & Light--How Lucky we were to have had them! Hugs from us!

I can't believe it has been a year. Pippin crossed the RB shortly after we came here as newbies. We are so sorry and know that he is with you still.

((((deb))) even though i don't know you, i understand - i still miss one of mine that's been gone for 16 years. our little ones never stay with us long enough. hugs.

Hi Deb, I know what a poignant time this is for you: tomorrow is Stu's 1-year anniversary, too. We were very lucky to have had these wonderful creatures in our lives.
Thinking of you and Pippin. Come visit us whenever. It is always good to see you.

It's coming up on Bear Man's one year anniversary as well. I share in your sadness. I loved reading about Pippin's adventures. I sure miss seeing his sweet face around here. Thanks for poppin' in for a visit, Deb. It's always great to see you.

((((Deb)))) I was just thinking about you and Pippin the other day. Thanks for stopping by. It's hard to believe it has been a year already.

Thank you everyone, its so nice to see so many familiar faces again.
Its been a tough year on ferrets, after Pippin left us we lost his brother Fuzzy to IBD, the others have been kept happy on hormone implants for their tumors but we have been having trouble getting those from Au. Ody has a heart condition and so far is doing well on lasix and enalapryl daily. My weasel warriors are getting old like their mom!
I have since heard of and tried to help several diabetic ferrets but sadly none of them made it, Pippin was a true miracle boy and that is no small thanks to the help I received from you all here.
We wont ever forget that.

How nice to see you Deb. Pippin, our own LL weasel. What a journey you had. I hope the rest of the crew continues to be well. Please visit more often. Nice to see an oldtimer post.

Oh WOW, Deb, it's great to hear from you! I think of Pippin and you often and it always brings a smile to my face. The funny and happy videos of your little guys were always a highlight of my day. The one where they jumped on a sheet that puffed up from the air vent?.... I still laugh at the craziness of those guys.

And of course the amazing Pippin and his valiant fight with diabetes will always be a unique story. What a trooper.
I'm sending you lots of hugs and please come and visit more often!
