The Adoption is Complete and Sir Chewy is Officially Mine!
I adopted Chewy because I like him and know that I will provide him a safe and loving home. But, I also think he is "suppose" to be mine. It is due to Kitty and her diabetes that Chewy and I were united. At the time that Chewy came into my home as a foster, Kitty seemed fine. I had no idea she had so many underlying health problems. I know that Kitty will not survive for long, though I will do my best to keep her alive and kicking for as long as possible. But, the reality is she is not well. I believe in fate, and I think Chewy was brought to me to keep me in the Diabetic Cat world...maybe to keep my interest, so maybe I can help others through my experience. For whatever reason, I just felt like Chewy was meant to be mine and through him, Kitty will always live.
A Special Thanks to Venita and DCIN for saving Chewy. The services that are provided by Venita and her group are invaluable to diabetic cats. It is hard to imagine that without DCIN, Chewy probably would have been euthanized immediately due to his diabetes. So, a BIG THANKS to DCIN!
So, I am HAPPY today that my CRAZY Self has added another CAT to my family! Sir Chewy, Welcome Home! I LOVE YOU!
When Saint Sue gets back we will have an OTJ party. He has been off insulin for four weeks!
