Is Zyrtec OK with Denamarin?

Houdini's allergies are making him miserable and every other antihistamine just knocks him out. Someone said Zyrtec doesn't make them as sleepy and is good for skin itchies .....

He is taking Denamarin, Cosequin (we start Adequan next week) and sometimes Bupe or Gabapentin for pain. So is it OK to add Zyrtec into the mix? I wouldn't give them at the same time......

Cetirizine should not be used with additional tranquilizing medications.

I would ask your vet.
Also, just wondering where you are getting the Adequan

Thanks Larry - Adequan will be at the vets office probably twice a week. Why?

Because the manufacturer says:

market is estimated to be first quarter 2014 however, this hinges upon completion of a successful
inspection by the FDA.
