One of my kitties group called "big gang" the feeding habit is - can/wet food on the morning and controlled dry food for diner. Approximately a month ago when i returned to take the food away and I found one of my kitty " Nomad" ( mixed Siamese, 9 years old and over wait) was laying in the water bowl. I past the thought that time but it happened two other occasion that week. (Nomad was rescued with his 3 sibling and their mom, when they were maybe 6 weeks old in the very cold winter almost frozen to dead. Turned out two of his sibling has had a chronic UTI and now controlled well with diet. The other girl developed at age two stomatitis and on prednisolone. ) Nomad is the friendliest, but can't be picked up and hold in your hand. I tried to check his blood sugar level two weeks ago three times with no success. Yesterday happened again and this time I din't give up. After an almost hour struggle, a little treat and more struggle I was able to get it. It was 3.6 (65) and 5 minutes later again 3.9 ( 70) and this was approximately 1 -1 1/2 hour after feeding time. I know I do have to do more testing (what I can do just when I am off do to the tight time schedule and the time concerning struggle) but till that any suggestion -what this could be??
