Is this formula accurate?

I found this thread for converting human meter readings to what an animal meter would read. Is the formula accurate or do we just not know? What the thread said was :

human meter / 0.65 = pet meter estimate
pet meter * 0.65 = human meter estimate

If so, I am really upset and really horrified because, if true, for instance Pumpkin's reading this morning would have come up as 712 ? (463 / .65) I hope not, because I am simply sick over this.

Shell, that was a really really old post, and it was one person’s interpretation of data they got. Please read the post #12 on that thread from one of our previous moderators, that should be your take away.

Over the years, people have tried to do comparisons; I myself have done many tests between the two meters I used, when switching between AT2 to human meter, more so to get a feel for things, but most definitely NOT to think that I have found some magical conversion that simply does not exist.

Got it. That helps. Thank you!

Also, my PM is probably later than most. At about 9:30pm or so, is when he is usually the lowest in the cycle. Or at least tends to be.

That formula is incorrect and frankly, the member who kept posting that information was warned several times to stop posting incorrect information. She was ultimately thrown off of FDMB. In the amount of time I've been here, it's very rare to have a member ejected.

From your own calculations, it should be a very good clue that what BJM posted was, in a word, wrong.

Thank you. It does seem rather high.
