:?: I sometimes need to be away all day, and Maggie is always hungry. If I left wet food for her to snack on during the day, it would be gone before I got out of the house. Wondering if there is a dry I could leave out for her (just once in a while) that might be low in carbs. Of course that might be gone in a minute also. She is still begging for food every time I go into the kitchen. I don't know if it just a habit, or if she is still really hungry. 1 unit of insulin twice a day, and I've just started glucose testing. It was 80 after +3.

Have you thought of putting a semi-frozen cube of wet food in a timed feeder that will open in the middle of the day? By the time the feeder opens, it will have thawed and be ready to eat. Just a thought.

Most people use an auto feeder; a popular one is by PetSafe and has 5 compartments.
