Looking at scouts SS..... I did not dose last night or this morning because she was very nicely under 150. Should I be providing her with just a drop? Is there a specific BG level she is under to stop dosing completely? How do I know when it's time to stop insulin?
it seems your kitty is headed that way! I would suggest a 0.25 u dose and continue checking the nadir.
you can find half a unit syringes with would make the 0.25 u much easier to ,measure.
I would suggest only giving a 0.25 u when your baby hits a 150 number, so you are giving them enough cushion to go down, and of course monitor
Her +2 is 148. So it definitely went up but it was also food influenced. We shall see how she is tonight and go from there. Of she stays right around 148 (pre-shot, not food) so you suggest .25 or .5?
