Just wondering. after a week on abs, Mickey has the runs quite smelly too. Had to take the litter box immediately out the door this time. :YMSIGH:

from what i am seeing by googling, yep, it's by weight and seems to even vary depending on if you're using it for diarhea vs. other stuff like ibd

my Yoda just had it but to be honest i can't remember the dose. i know the vet broke the pill up and put it in gelcaps for me so as to avoid making Yoda drool. i could check when i get home but that's probably 5-6 hours from now. i'm sure someone else knows anyhow

It is dosed by weight but the standard dose for a normal size cat is about 62.3 mg. That is 1/4 of the smallest human 250 mg tablet. For some conditions, the dose is doubled but high does can result in neurological problems.

my friend had it from last week because some type of bug was going thru one of her cats with diarreah. She did not use it. The cat was better the next day.

It is in liquid form and dosage is 0.5 mls once daily. I only gave one dose today. And he usually only goes once or twice a day, hopefully it helps. I cannot afford to get him to the vet this week so..I am giving this a try.

Duh, I didn't even think of googling it
Thanks everyone!!!
