Is it possible to email the BG chart

If your vet has internet access, no need to e-mail the whole chart, just give the link to it.

Vet complained it was too complicated ( then said he needed an x ray) which frustrated me and told me she had not read the information I had provided :(.

When I told her he was suffering from high BG she later complained chart was too complicated and wanted levels just with time of shot

:(

Sounds like your vet knows my vet. My spreadsheet is "too complicated" so I just give her times and BG readings. She'd get a better picture if she looked at the trends on my SS< but apparently it's too much bother...

My guess is they didn't bother to read it- looked at the numbers and said "Don't like that, can't make $ off of it. Let's get them in for a curve so I can make some $."

Why is an x-ray needed? Is there something broken?

...( then said he needed an x ray)
before agreeing to an xray and spending all that money, please have the vet explain why an xray is required to treat diabetes. I have never heard of that. Is your vet trying to find another condition that Simke may have?

...she later complained chart was too complicated and wanted levels just with time of shot
this tells me your vet does not understand that Lantus insulin dosage changes are based on the nadir or low point in the cycle. Only looking at the pre-shot numbers, which is what your vet requested from you, should be given very little weight in dosage changes with Lantus.

Is it possible to get a test somewhere in the +5 to +7 time frame this morning?

Looks to me like Simke is still bouncing from those lows on Sunday, 5/5. A bounce can take up to 72 hours to clear.

Thinking of you and Simke and hoping the two of you are doing ok.
