When I was asking my vet about what foods to get Riley he said that diabetic soft food was okay to give him because it was low in sodium. (The WD high in carbs.)
I've been giving him nothing but Sheba and fancy feast pate which has kept his sugar at around 80 but once I gave him a little bit of the WD it went up to 123 and I don't want it to do that because it may keep going up if I continue to do that.
Now I've been giving him what was recommended on this website from April, and thank you very much for that.
I was reading the for the Fortiflora has salt in it and I was curious should I be concerned about that,I did taste it with my finger and I didn't taste very salty but it still has salt in it, is that something I should be concerned with? Is sodium a concern?
