Hello!
My Marvin (aka Marshmallow) was diagnosed late May with diabetes. He is on Prozinc and I'm currently working on getting the right dose. He's only eating canned food (< 5% carbs) at this point, with the exception of a few high quality dry kibble for a diversion for when I test his blood. He's an extremely timid and freaked out cat that has had a rough background, I believe. I adopted him about 2 years ago. He has 0 people skills. I'm astonished he is letting me do all this testing and these injections!
I purchased a Contour Next EZ human monitor to do the testing.
I'll be posting questions in the Prozinc forum on dosing because I can't seem to get things right.
