Hello,
My name is Wendy Linder, and I am new to this great site!!
I have a 8 year old kitty named Poopers!! (yes Poopers)

Poopers was diagnosed with diabetes about a year ago, doing great on his Lantus meds.

Unfortunately,
I ordered from a company that keeps telling me that they shipped it, I still don't have it, it's been 2 weeks.

Now my poor Poopers is out and I can't order anything until I get my check.
I'm on disability, a cancer and meningitis survivor!! With many side effects.

Does anyone have any ideas on what to do??!!

Thank you ❤ for this site, I'm learning so much.

So sad plus I have surgery in the morning.

Any advice is appreciated

Love the name! I wish I could be more help about where you could buy more Lantus. I know there is financial support available, but again, I'm not familiar. I suggest posting in the Health forum where more eyes will see your post.

Welcome! I see you found the Supply Closet Forum. Hope you get your Lantus soon. In the meantime, if you’re out of insulin, please be sure to check Poopers for ketones

We live line a block from the Vet,
He is going to stop on his way home and check him.

He is now thinking about keeping a extra vial on hand for his furry friend's, as this had been happening a couple more times then it used to.

Where are you located? Ordering from Mark's in Canada is the best price. It does take some time to get it and they ship according to temperature.

Did you get a tracking number for your order? If you used a credit card contact them. They in turn will contact shipper to inquire and put a hold on payment until they get an answer. It might be all the company needs, a little nudge.

I'm in Minnesota..
I have great service with vetrxdirect, but I did not use them this time. I know I'm dumb.

My bank is working on things.

Hi sorry to hear about your insulin problem, hopefully it will solve soon

In the mean time what are you feeding him? Are you home testing? what is is blood glucose level right now?

We can't do home testing on him but we do live maybe 2 minutes (if that) from his Vet.
While he loves his shot, he hates the testing!! The Vet said he does not want us trying because of how crazy he gets, I have heath problems, a colostomy and we don't want to risk him doing damage with that.

It takes a couple of people to get his blood.. At times the Vet will stop over and do it, and does not charge us when he comes out or we go in for testing.

He is the most picky cat I've ever seen or had..

He only eats Purina One (for seniors) that we limit, and at shot time he gets his wet food (he shares with another kitty) it's wet canned Fancy Feast pate.
The Vet and us tried to change him, but he won't eat it.

His last test his Blood came back at 300, before that one wax 250..

He gets checked again in 2 weeks.
He had really really bad neuropathy on his back feet he could barely walk on them or jump.

Right after the first shot we noticed a big difference and it just kept getting better from there

And absolutely no human food
