The first picture that stole my heart of her at the vet's office, when her name was still Angel

First Day home with us...She really is purring in this one, even if she doesn't look like it.

And unhappy but warmer in the AC in her new sweater that I made her.

She has big eyes like Gandalf. Man, how can you give up on that? Some people have no shame.

Bobble head doll.....that is a cute way to describe that cut. Most of the time I have seen it referred to as a Lion Cut.

Sounds like she has been through a lot - poor little girl. She is so lucky that you brought her into your home.

And Myrrdin aka The Sh*tten is more than most of the cats can tolerate for long periods of time...lol. He really wants to be everyone's friend he just goes about it all the wrong ways...Like leaping out at them to bite them on the tail, or leaping on their heads to introduce himself.

This made me laugh - reminds me so much of my Tigger. That is what he does too, only he is sixteen. He does it to the much younger boy next door, and to my son's male three year old when they come to visit. They just shake him off and continue on with what they were stalking or playing with, just tolerating Tigger.

I never thought of it as him wanting to be everyone's friend, but more like he was trying to show who is boss. Maybe it is like you said though that he wants to be their friend and is going about it the wrong way!

Well in Myrrdin's case he is barely a year old and he does this to EVERYONE....Humans included in the pounce on your head as a way of saying HI! Then looks hurt when he gets rolled like a bowling ball by the older kids. lol The only one here his age is his sister Duvesssa everyone else is an adult and Musette and Maxwell of course seniors. So Myrrdin doesn't have any other rough and tumble playmates. We refer to Duvessa and Myrrdin as the good and evil twins...lol. Duvessa is as sweet and cuddly as her brother is just pure evil..lol. She would much rather lay in your lap and be petted all day long, than stalk and pounce.

The others tolerate him up to a point and then he gets hissed at and swatted, at which point he comes and crawls up on either my lap or Jon's lap with that look of "Mom! They're picking on me." lol He's just the bratty baby brother as far as hey are concerned. Reminds me of the little boy that chases the little girls around the playground with a frog.

Actually I'm learning to knit, that sweater is crocheted. There is very little that I can't crochet, my ex-husband used to say I could look at a ball of yarn with a crochet hook in my hand and scare it into an afghan...lol.

Yeah, I think she knows she is finally home she woke me up this morning with purrs and head butts.
