WE GOT HER!!!!

The guys found her in the glove box of one of the work truck after they drove about 75 miles to the job site and back.

Once we got her cleaned up she is lighter grey than I expected...

so without further ado...meet The Butterfly Mariposa

How old do you think she is? So she was in the glovebox, wow wonder how in the world she got in there?

Age will be a little easier to tell once I get some weight on her. She's rail thin but judging by eye color I'd guess she's between 8-10 weeks. Her eyes have mostly lost there blue but are still in that muddled grey color where they haven't quite settled on the adult color.

She's big enough to be weaned but not yet old enough to be away from mom in the wild. Think she has at least been handled by a human because she snuggles and purrs when held.

Although at this point anyone who brings her food is her best friend. She ate a full can and a half last night and has already polished off another half can for breakfast this morning.

Wow, what's that make? 15? What's one more right? That's how I see it, another doesn't make much difference. Glad you found her.

Really wish from now on if my Bridge Kitties want to send me a present they would limit it to Rainbows and butterflies. ohmygod_smile :lol:

Oh... Lyresa is sooooo right. The second picture is a winner!!! She is so precious and pretty darn lucky to have found you. Lovely lovely Mariposa (although I kind of like Maribooboo too) :lol:

Yes its a big fluffy striped plume of a tail. And if you look at her face real close she has a little white butterfly marking over her lips. Like a butterfly landed on her mouth, hushing her. lol
