Interviewing a new veterinarian - questions?

Hi! So, I've had it up to here with the veterinary hospital I am currently using - sad really as the original Doctor I'd been going to for 30 years and when he sold, he went with it. I've spent over $3,000 there in the last month - was voted "customer of the month" (HA! Is that due to the amount spent?!!!) But whenever I ask questions I get the "roll of the eye" ...... it's adding to my stress level and I am on a new mission to eliminate all undue stress so I can concentrate on Tashie and her health.

I made an appointment for Friday morning to see someone new. I am not taking Tashie but going to sit and "interview" this vet to see is she, too, rolls her eyes. She is also supposed to believe in a lot of holistic stuff as well and have an "open mind"

I have seen posts in the past where there has been sort of a "vet interview question list" - should have bookmarked as I can't find right now - does anyone know of this?

Any links, suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks BJM, my vet still not up to date wont talk to me about Lucky because I don't use pet meter and she can't understand the SS I sent to her says it just numbers because of human meter and had no idea what a lantus pen was...

I'd also take along printed out copies of the TR protocol, the official one w/ the clinical studies. It helps some vets if what you want isn't "something from the internet".
