I found these articles just surfing the web - very current & interesting. For one, you have to pay beyond abstract but I am thinking my vet may be registered already. I'll give him a copy and find out. The other is from a 2010 conference.

Very interesting. Thank you for posting Susan! There's one statement in the first article that fits Boo - IGF-1 isn't always a good indicator after treatment. Boo's is still in very "acro" numbers, yet, she's been off insulin for over 9 months now.
