How long does a vial of Lantus typically stay good for? I've read all different things and not sure what to go by.

How long does a vial of Lantus typically stay good for? I've read all different things and not sure what to go by.

We usually say 4-6 months, but the real way to tell is to watch the numbers.....if they start to creep up with no other explanation, it's time to suspect the insulin is losing it's efficacy
