Insulin Basics

Hi All
I've a coworker with a diabetic cat, currently on either caninsulin or PZI (he wasn't clear). I'd like to be able to give him some basic info on the different insulins now available...similar to the original FDMB FAQ, only current.
He's not testing right now but has and likely will start again. He's a scientist so he understands techno talk and will understand if we can show how the different insulins work, but don't expect him to flock to a tight regulation protocol nor spend time on a website.....
Thoughts? Sources?

Here's a summation I wrote up on the various insulins. Half the links are to the manufacturer's page and/or Wikipedia page explaining what it is and half are to scientific documents, journals, etc....
