Insulin and syringes donation

Sadly my Samson passed away a couple weeks ago. We had his diabetes under control, but just couldn't beat his cancer.

I have a little more than 100 units left in a Lantus pen (kept in fridge) and 75 syringes (3/10cc; 1/2" 30 gauge needle) and a few syringes with shorter needles. I would be more than happy to donate these to someone in need.

I'm in the Tampa FL area, so if there is someone local to me that would be ideal since I'm not sure about keeping the insulin cold during shipping. I'm sure it can be done, I just don't know the proper way to do it.

Please let me know if you or someone you know can use these supplies.

I'm so sorry for your loss. They are never with us long enough. It's very generous of you to want to donate Samson's supplies to someone in need.

I suggest you copy your post and put it in the Supply Closet forum as well as more folks looking for supplies check there and it won't get lost in space as it will here due to the number of posts in this forum.
