hmmm mine works fine; try doing a google search with planet earth rx and great life grain free to get the view - thanks!

Link works now. Here are the particulars. My take is that it seems to have carbs like yams and pumpkin fruits that have carbs. It seems to have a lot of ingredients that appeal to humans. I wuld say it is a little better than average for a dry.

What we need to know is carbs. If anyone has seen this food on any of the famous lists, I'd love to know. Thanks!

I haven't (that I know of -- it might in fact have been sitting in my in box for some time now). But if they are only bragging about 30% protein, I would guess it's high in carbs. It's a bit disingenuous for them to tout "no grain, no potatoes", and then have tapioca (cassava root) as the second ingredient.

for sure we're trying to get to all wet

I'm glad to hear that because, as I often beat my drums about, diet is more than just about carbs as Opie can attest to after suffering tremendously when he became blocked on dry food.

Just a reminder to anyone reading this - the WATER content of the diet is just as important as the carb content so, to that end, I do not advocate the feeding of any dry food - no matter the carb content.

(See Opie's pictures on the Urinary Tract Health page linked below.)

Honestly, I wonder why these companies come out with foods that sound more like a diet for humans than for cats. I love that they are grain free but why go to all the trouble of adding all of these other rather exotic ingredients? I've never seen a cat who ate yams or dulse or ...... :)

This cat truly is her own worst enemy - she is clearly a Hollywood femme thin wanna be, refusing to eat much at all (and stubborn about it!). So, for her 14th birthday, we're off for diagnosis with a specialist today (do I know how to party or what?). She's always been finicky and a light weight but we've got to get calories into her that won't complicate the diabetic state.

Thanks bunches for your thoughts and input......
