? Injection site on body

Where do you give your baby their insulin? How often do you completely change your location & if you do..why?

My new vet likes to inject in the neck scruff , another vet told me they like the belly area.

I am very curious to see where the majority of y'all inject at

I inject in the scruff. My vet said that's the area with the best absorption, and it's where it's most comfortable for Squallie. I vary it from side to side and back and forth a little but I always use the scruff.

With skittles I use the abdomen area, with my 1st diabetic cats I used to scruff . Sometimes depending on how skittles is lying, it's more towards his side area.

Sometimes I wish Squallie would let me inject him in another site, but he only tolerates the scruff, so that's what we go with.

I do the scruff but try to switch up the sides. I tried other spots but he doesn't tolerate it as well.

Thanks for that! When I was shown how to give Frannie injections, was only shown the scruff. A cousin had a diabetic kitty who did it on the Flanks and alternated each shot when done.
