Can anyone tell me where I can purchase methylcobalamin in INJECTIBLE form? I bought the recommended capsules but she is finicky enough that she eats around the mixed in powder. Even my vet gave me the go-ahead to try injections of methyl B12 and said he would write me a script for it if I found a place to order it from. Also....how much and how often would I inject her, and should it be separate from the insulin or could I put the insulin-filled syringe then into the mthyl bottle? Any info or direction would be very appreciated. She has neuropathy in her hind legs which has not been alievated even though her glucose numbers are within good range for a diabetic cat. Thank you.

I can't help you with that, but what I can suggest is using unflavoured pills, and dissolving them completely in a tsp of warm water, and then mix that in her food. Much harder to eat around. ;-)

I do pretty much what was suggested. I crush the piece of pill, then mix it into a bit of food, then add warm water to make an apple-sauce consistency. If he sniffs at it and turns away, a tiny sprinkle of Fortiflora is all it takes.
