Injectable Methylcobalamine

Is there an injectable form of Methylcobalamine for cats? I am reading that the methyl- as opposed to the cyano- is better for cats, with more bioavailability and a natural form of the vitamin B12. However, the cost for Zobaline orally is pretty hefty if having to give it consistently for months. I know that most vets use the cyano form of cobalamin to inject but is there a methyl form of injectable that might be new and available for cats? Also, if there is not a specific methylcobalamne used for cats can the human injectable be given to cats?

I just searched Google and it does come in an injectable form . Not sure if you could get it through any pharmacy or if it has to be a compound or specialty pharmacy.

Injectables are typically more expensive than orals since they have to be sterile and in most case it requires a prescription. When I looked for injectable methyl B12 in the past it was very expensive.
Here is one that does not require a script. Note that each ampule is 1000 Mcg (1mg) and that cat dse for the Zobaline is 3000 Mcg

Methylcobalamin is better for diabetic neuropathy. But it doesn't need to be injectable... Zobaline is just a (cat specific) brand name supplement of methyl B12 plus a bit of folic acid. If Zobaline is too expensive there are other methyl B12 supplements out there. If you can find a supplement that doesn't contain 'nasties' like sugar or weird flavourings you should be fine. And you can add in a bit of folic acid to copy the Zobaline formula if you wish.
Methyl B12 has no flavour at all, so can easily be mixed into a little food. ..It may well turn the food a strange shade of pink though, but the cat won't notice that...
