I think Milo might be in remission. It has been 17 days since his last dose of insulin - numbers have been too low to even give the bump dose. I have spoken with Milo's vet and she feels he is definitely in remission. If this is the case, how frequently do you suggest I spot test him? The vet has requested I bring Milo in for a blood test/panel and weight check for the final "remission" diagnosis from her. I plan to bring him in mid-October when I have time off of work. Does all of this sound good?
If so, I have to thank the FDMB one more time (not my first cat with diabetes...Norman (RIP) was diagnosed ages ago it seems). You guys are so awesome and inspiring on here. My oldest daughter just left for college this fall to pursue a degree and career in veterinary medicine. I can tell you for sure, feline diabetes is a top subject she is going to research after seeing her buddy Milo go through this (she is Milo's "person"). Thank you again!
