Immediate suggestion?! How much should I shoot?!

Hey guys!

My cats AMPS was 177. I am feeding her breakfast now and then I normally give 2u of prozinc. How much should I give with a 177 BG though? She is normally in 300s or 400s in the AM.

SUGGESTIONS PLEASE!

Half that may be OK. Will you be home to monitor?

Is your spreadsheet up to date? That usually gives some clues on dose adjustment for ProZinc.

I'm behind a few days on the SS but will fill in the data as soon as I get home. I keep it all on paper and sometimes get behind on getting it into the SS.

But I ended up retesting her after she ate which bounced her up to 215, then i gave her 1.5 units. Last I tested was about an hour ago so roughly AM+7.5- and she was in 300s. So she's still all over the place. I cannot seem to stabilize her into any consistent range at all. It is so discouraging.

I am starting to think she is extremely food sensitive. Is that normal? I notice on days where I can get away with less frequent meals, she will go much lower... But if I allow her to eat small meals 4-6 times a day, she stays high. Is that something that will always be that way or will she eventually adjust?
