Will be spending the weekend at my folks', as my sisters are both visiting with their families (one from Texas and one from northern Michigan)

I'll be meeting my niece's fiance' for the first time, and my nephew's SO

Charlie will be taking care of the kitties and may drive over on Saturday and Sunday for day visits (about 70 miles away from home)

I'm staying at a B&B near my folks to maximize visit time

Had a great time - and capped off the weekend with a golf outing today at a fancy-pants country club.

Slightly sunburned, very tired, but also quite content even though I had to clean the litter-boxes when i got home tonight.

I swear- in my house it seems like nobody else EVER thinks to clean a litter box :o

DH and I discussed division of labor years ago.... I have to clean the litter boxes, and in return, he has to gather up all the trash and carry it out to the curb (including the litter).

I have a nice stool to sit on while scooping out the boxes -- so not too bad - just dusty.
 
Welcome home ... glad to hear the visit went well, and I hope you enjoyed the fancy club visit.
