New and looking for any tips or cheaper alternatives to the insulin my cat is on.

You can usually get insulin online. You just goggle the name of the insulin and choose the online pharmacy. Have your vet fax a prescription and your good to go.

I'm Zoiee, his name is LordFluffyButt. He's 5yrs old. He was diagnosed in August of this year. I'm getting ready to purchase a second vial & I'm wanting to find a less expensive option. He gets 2.5 units of ProZinc twice a day, diet is diabetic formulated Purina.
 
Great! Thanks for the information! I've also used Prozinc and it worked very well for my Baco!
She doesn't need it anymore because her diabetes was caused by prednison.
Do you test at home? It is nice for you to know how Lord Fluffy butt (great name btw:joyful:) is doing.
Collecting data is one of the most important things to do so you can see how your furr baby is doing.
Do you know how his numbers are at the moment?
 
He's a bit of a butt. I had to take him to get his leukemia shot today & they checked him. It was 428, but he did not have a happy experience this time. I don't think he liked the tech that came in.
