Marvin started on the higer dose immediately, I think Chris at RVC found that it was the better starting point as he didn't give me the option of the lower dose that Bronxy started at. Marvin was at 16pounds and is at about .625. It took about 3 weeks to see real results, and it quickly went down from there. The big difference between Bronx and Marvin I think is that Marvin was only at 8U of Lantus when we started Cabergoline, so I think that maybe why it started working quicker. We've seen good results in other kitties, Jadi's Tiffany is doing very well on it, Beenie was too , but for Beenie there were other issues, Gizmo isn't doing as well on it yet, but in one of the studies they did say it can take a while, I think that Marvin and Tiffany just took to it quicker. Can't wait to see how Gizmo ends up doing in a couple months.

Deena, who is giving Malachi his shots? I see almost no preshot test data the last couple weeks and with cabergoline now in the picture, you really need to step up the testing. For Malachai's safety. Plus there are days missing in the spreadsheet. When and if cabergoline starts working, it can mean rapid changes in dose. Test data will tell you when that is happening. The number one cause of death in acrocats is hypo due to changing dose needs. That's not typically an issue if people test enough to know how low the dose is taking the cat.
