If you're not going to be at home at the usual dose time, should you give Bexacat earlier or later?

Hello everyone, the title pretty much says it all. I usually give Binky her pill in the evening. Today, I have to be out of the house for a birthday dinner for a family member at the time I'd usually give her the pill, between 6:00 pm and 6:15 pm. Today I will be gone from about 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm, give or take. Should I give her the pill at 4:30 before I leave (~1.5 hrs early) or 8:30 when I get back (~2.5 hrs late)?
And for tomorrow, can I go back to the normal time right away?
I really appreciate any help you can provide.

Bexacat is a pill that the cat takes once per day around the same time. I ended up giving it to her when I came back. Her ketones were <0.1 and her sugar was at 120 when I was about to leave (which was about +22 hrs after yesterday’s pill) and I didn’t want her to go too low if I wasn’t there. I left her with wet food to eat so she wouldn’t get a carb spike after dinner while I wasn’t there. That was my logic, pls correct me if I’m mistaken about anything. Binky is doing great, the delayed pill didn’t seem to affect her numbers or behaviour at all, I was home with her for all of the next day. Thanks for checking in!
