IBD Diets? EZComplete fur Cats?

So it's looking like Sebastian might now have IBD. Need some input on diets.

Any rabbit/lamb/venison cans off the chart that people recommend? Looked through a few now and most of them seem to either also include some amount of a regular meat like turkey, pork, or fish, or be prohibitively expensive for the amount that Sebastian eats.

I suppose I also need to look at a homemade raw diet if there's nothing good on the chart.
 
Just did a quick search of the forums and it seems to be used a bit around these parts and very positively recommended, so that's that. Already ordered a bag.

I just recently started using it for my five cats. I have one with diabetes and another in early stages of kidney disease, so I was looking for something that all of them can eat. Two of my cats love it, and the other three eat it if I put crushed treats, such as freeze dried duck liver, on top. I'm still in the process of transitioning them so they're not eating it completely. I highly recommend it. It is very easy to prepare, and very healthy. I reached out to them via a contact form on their website to make sure it's healthy enough for my kidney disease girl, and they got back to me with a very detailed email. They're very reputable and professional. When you try it, let us know what Sebastian thinks of it.
 
I use EZ Complete for both my kitties. They absolutely love it! I bought a meat grinder on Amazon but many people buy pre ground meat (fine as long as it doesn’t have added sodium) or just chop it up with a knife. With the meat grinder, I spend less than an hour every other week making food, and portion it out in pint sized canning jars to freeze what won’t be used within 3 days.

I will strongly recommend that you take the change very slowly. Spot scarfed it down the first time he had it, then promptly got sick, so wouldn’t touch it again for weeks. When I finally reintroduced it, I did 1/2tsp per day increases mixed into his canned food, and it took about 2 weeks to fully transition. Going that slowly he didn’t have any tummy issues.

Yeah I plan to take the transition real slow. I picked up a 1lb of ground turkey from the store to start but I don't trust what "minimally processed" means or the fact that they add rosemary extract, so I'm going to buy a grinder and just do it myself. It will also allow me to use the other meals that they sell whole but not ground like venison as well as mix light and dark meats.
